Frequently asked questions

Where is my firm's data stored?

On servers in Australia, kept apart from every other firm. Your files never leave the country, are never shown to another firm, and are never used to train anything.

Could another firm ever see my files?

No. Every firm gets its own separate copy of Clue — not one shared system that filters who sees what. There is no path from one firm's work to another's, even if something goes wrong.

Is the AI's output reliable?

Clue accelerates research and drafting and shows its sources, but AI output is assistive. Every result must be verified by a qualified legal practitioner before you rely on it. You remain responsible for your professional judgement.

What can I use as a source?

You can upload your firm's documents and ask source-linked questions about them. A broader Australian legal-research corpus is planned, but it is not part of the current early-access service.

What does it cost, and how does AI usage work?

Plans are priced per firm and include a monthly AI allowance. The pricing page is generated from the same catalogue used by checkout, so it is the current source for prices, seat limits and credit packs.

Is this generally available?

We're in early access. Checkout charges the price shown, then we speak to your firm and set you up ourselves rather than switching it on automatically.

Can we get SSO / a data-residency guarantee?

Dedicated resources and a written data-residency guarantee are available on eligible plans. SSO is tracked for a future release and is not included in the current service.
